Oxipit’s journey began over seven years ago at an innovative AI hackathon, where a talented team of medical and data science experts united to tackle a pressing global challenge: the shortage of radiologists. Driven by a shared vision to improve patient care, they quickly developed a prototype that would evolve into Oxipit ChestEye, an AI solution designed to transform medical imaging efficiency.
In 2019, Oxipit ChestEye received CE certification, enabling it to produce preliminary reports for 75 chest X-ray findings. This milestone laid the foundation for the next generation of Oxipit products. The team remained focused on the future of radiology, envisioning AI solutions that could integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, reducing radiologists' workload by managing cases with no pathologies and enabling a shift toward critical cases—ultimately decreasing wait times for patients in need.
In April 2022, Oxipit made headlines worldwide with the launch of ChestLink, the world’s first and only CE Class IIb-certified autonomous AI imaging application. ChestLink generates final reports for chest X-rays without radiologist involvement when no abnormalities are detected, streamlining workflows by up to 40%. This innovation demonstrated Oxipit's dedication and expertise, solidifying its leadership in AI medical imaging.
